Back to the real world.

I arrived back at Caloundra late this afternoon. The Debbie Reynolds show was
just great. Such a talented lady and so dynamic. Kate and I had a meet and
greet supper with her after the show. We were very impressed by her gracious
demeaner. It cannot be that easy to remain so pleasant and inspiring after a
matinee in the afternoon and another full on show in the evening.

We had a nice laid back time at the Rydges hotel at South Bank. We wined and
dined well, nice food and champagne. Did a Wazza and Peter talking into the
wee small hours.

This morning we went to church then out to Park Ridge to visit with a friend,
leaving there about 2 o'clock. We stopped for a bite to eat on the way home
and thus ended our very self indulgent weekend, and re -entry into our real
world again.

I came home to a lovely surprise, Peter had managed to chase the remaining
gremlins from my blog. How good that was to see . It was a little peculiar prior
to this last fine tuning I was unable to see any of my posts on my page.
Everyone else could see them but me. Problem is now solved.

I am going to have a nice quite day tomorrow perhaps do a little garden
weeding, it certainly needs some of that.

Dear Margaret ~~ I am so glad that you had such a lovely outing with all the
trimmings. I think Peter must be the late night, early hours culprit as I
see Marcus says they sit up till the wee small hours, and Peter and I do too.
Anyway as you say, back to the real world. I hope that it is a little easier for you nowadays. Love, Merle.

I see Merle isn't the only Australian with a sense of humor (just kidding of course).

Hope your blog is finally fixed. Some of the problems can be so frustrating.

Hi Margaret. Your blog is looking nice now. I like your calendar, I was thinking maybe Peter put one of his kind on.

Your jokes were good today also. The Real Mother Bear story sounds good. My dad used to start telling one of those three bear stories and Mom would hush him up.
We never did get to hear his version--if he really had one.

Hi again Margaret ~~ I just knew that you would love blogging. As you know it gave Peter a new lease on life, and I love it too. It is a real interest to meet folks from all over the world and
learn about their countries. Thanks for your comments, I did leave one on all the posts that went missing. So glad
you enjoy it. Love, Merle.

Margaret,

Debbie Reynolds was a big favorite of mine, from way back!
I, of course, disliked LIZ TAYLOR forever, after the break-up of Debbie and Eddie Fisher! :) (due to liz)

I preferred Debbie's cuteness to Liz's glamour! :)
